Performances

  • Stuff store by Oumar Jalloh

    13.30 - 13.45 at Table on Tracks

Stuff store is a concept from which I express experiences and thought patterns that mostly have to do with reminding the pulse of freedom in creative expression.

For this one I’ll be diving into the spontaneous quality jazz music has to offer.

How, from chaos, harmony can be found.

From noise to music, by changing your state of being.

    Your way of listening.

The Purple Suit by Anna Tafel and Charlotte Schmidt

    13.50 - 14.05 at Lamp Sky

The Purple Suit is a lighthearted watch for young and old which deals with the ongoing journey of self-discovery through a garment. A playful approach towards the connection between the performer and the garment, allows a joyful exploration of identity. It is a tribute to one’s dearest piece of clothing.

Een ode aan mezelf by Lotte Berger

    14.10 - 14.20 at Table on Tracks

    Een liefdesbrief naar mezelf

Een lange stevige omarming die zich uit tot een explosie van vreugde en genot

    Een sensatie van verbeeldingen

    Een tafel dans

Strength in Vulnerability by Raïfa Bazzi and Fábio de Almeida

    14.25 - 14.35 at KennisMakerij

Strength in Vulnerability merges Arabic and Portuguese heritages in a harmonious narrative. Raïfa, a mover, and Fábio, a musician, explore individual truths while embracing unity. Their performance celebrates human resilience, acceptance, and interconnectedness through movement and music, inspiring audiences to find strength in vulnerability and unity.

Memories of a fifteen years old by Claudia Quaglia

    14.40 - 15.05 at Stadsbalkon

The performance explores the intricate evolution of her relationship with her body following a traumatic event. Through the fusion of spoken word and dance, this piece offers a profound platform to scrutinize and transform daily behaviors, postures, and gestures. In doing so, it bravely confronts and dismantles a longstanding taboo that has loomed over society for years.

Calestrina ladon (you’ve changed, but so have I) by Koen Engelen

    15.10 - 15.30 at Stadsbalkon

Life hits you when you're just doing your thing and also caterpillars eat a lot.

    My mistake by Stefan Žarić

    15.35 - 15.45 at Balcony Entrance

    I'm so sorry

    This solo is about me

Of course I know it shouldn't be

    And I apologise for that

You don't have to watch it if you don't want to,

    This is all on me

Weak girls suck by Ida Osten

    15.50 - 16.05 at Table on Tracks

Parties and clubs are spaces for people to express, interact, share affection and intimacy. Every person is experiencing these factors differently according to background, ethnicity, gender and personality. ‘Weak girls suck’ is a journey of two women being transformed into different states that nightlife evokes in them. Moving in the euphoric bubble the party creates around them, they are shaped by previous experiences and interactions.

Do you see me? by Jane van Beers

    16.10 - 16.15 at KennisMakerij

Do I exist in your eyes, or have you painted me with your assumptions? Is there a deeper essence within me, yearning to emerge? Can I summon the courage to unveil it, and do I dare to embrace it?

Paragraph 2, line 39 by Katja Butković

    16.20 - 16.35 at Balcony Entrance

I got older. What is age? Does age define if I am late for doing things for the first time. Should it restrict me from being playful, curious about the world. Life is an experiment, in which I am the player. Gambling about what to sacrifice in order to experience. Who is the person allowing things? How to say a no? Am I allowed to? Does it mean that I am unpolite? Am I allowed to think, or is it something that you learn? Am I allowed to do things that are only socially accepted? What is pure? The dress I am wearing or the soul that is levitating? How does loneliness look like? Would you rather have a go back button or a pause button in everyday life?

    HomeHungry by Lili Probojcsevity

    16.40 - 16.50 at Lamp Sky

I feel hungry, really hungry. I bike to the supermarket and buy everything I can get my hands on and I eat until I can't move anymore. Still don’t feel full. Sweet taste is left in my mouth, everything is so sweet here. Home tastes sour and bitter. But that is the only thing that would fill me up.
